Ok....having read thru the messages in the forum, I have seen many references to the petcock... and I'm confused. Having aquired a used Savage, I don't have the benefit of the Operator's Manual.
I would like to know what the correct operating position is for the fuel valve a.k.a petcock.
(Arrow Left) or (Arrow down)
The reason I ask is my bike won't run properly if the petcock is vertical in the down position. Either pointed towards Reserve or Prime/Primary.
